Southern hub to host party for models
Ho Chi Minh City’s Palace Hotel will hold an event called “Model’s Day” on May 22 with performances from over 200 professional models and artists.Organized by the local Venus Fashion company, the event aims to create an exchange between fashion models and their fans.
Supermodels like Thanh Hang, Kim Cuong, Binh Minh, and Xuan Thu will join with their colleagues and well-known songsters, actors and MCs.
After a fashion show, there will be a charity auction raising funds for HCMC’s poor children.
The highlight of the evening will be the “Queen of the Night” contest.
Organizers say there are prizes worth VND30 million (US$1,875) for categories including best dress, best performing style, best fit and Queen of the Night.
The hotel’s address is 56-66 Nguyen Hue Boulevard, District 1.
