Mambo Graphics, or simply Mambo, is an Australian surfwear company, established in 1984. It is best known for producing graphic designs with strong political, religious or humorous themes. Mambo was launched in 1984 as a T-shirt screen printing business within their screen printing factory "Phantom Screen printing".

Now owned by Gazal Corporation (Australian owned textile manufacturer), Mambo has become large commercial clothing, textile and other goods manufacturer with an annual turnover of more than 12 million dollars (AUD). Mambo has hosted local and overseas surfing events and gives financial support to Reach Out and Greenpeace. Mambo is a major exporter and helps to develop young talent, produce innovative products, artworks and quality clothing.

Although Australian owned, Mambo manufacture their products in various locations off shore, hence leading to the expression "made near Australia".

During the 1980s Mambo produced the ubiquitous "poo-shooter" (a dog defecating) T-shirt designs; at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney it supplied printed Hawaiian shirts to the Australian Olympic Team. Mambo currently has 22 stores around the world, plus distributors in New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

The Mental as Anything band member Reg Mombassa is famous for his Mambo designs. He is a major contributor to Mambo's artwork designs for T-shirts.

The Mambo shirts have also been seen in media, among the famous is the Scorpius clone named Harvey, from the science fiction show Farscape, wearing it mainly in beach related scenes over his cooling suit.(wikipedia)
